Gathering - Alabama SingersGathering (Eng)

[ Previous album ] - [ Next album ]

In October of 2015 a wonderful group of people gathered together to learn and record some new songs. All of the songs were written using the text of the Bible as their lyrics. We were all blessed by this time!

Songs that are written for congregational signing seem very similar to the ones that are composed for choir singing. Some say that the songs that are used for worship should be simpler in their makeup and arrangement than the choral music. Though sometimes a church falls in love with a more complicated song and sings it all the time while a seemingly simple song doesn’t stick. We believe that what the church sings should be based on God’s truth, on praising Him and uplifting each other, and on proclamation of His love!

With great appreciation of our brothers' and sisters' desire to help the Lord’s church grow in deeper understanding of God’s Word, we would like to share this recording with you. Sheet music for all songs is available at Scores in PDF. This recording can be downloaded for free. Download a complementary copy of this recording. Our hope is for these songs to be used by the church for God’s glory!
